February is here and before we know it it’ll be half-term week already! Read on for Things to do February Half Term 2022 – Surrey and South East England. I’ve already booked Farming Week at Bocketts, it sounds lovely! February can be a bit tricky with regards to weather but even on a rainy day there’s plenty of things to do. So whether you’re looking for quality time out in the fresh air or indoor activities continue reading for my pick of the family-friendly events over half term week.
Bocketts Farm Park – February Farming Week
What’s on
As well as all the normal things that Bocketts Farm offer (goats, horses, pigs, sheep – you name it!) There will be lots of family activities dedicated to Farming including:
- Over 100 new born lambs due
- Meet the Shepherd
- Birds of Prey
- Fun and games with the Giggle Company
- Craft corner
- Heated indoor play areas and acres of space for outdoor adventures!
Bocketts Farm Park is perfect for kids of all ages and it has plenty of space both in doors and outdoors so brilliant to visit whatever the weather.

Godstone Farm – Talk to the Animals
What’s on
There’s always lots of things to do at Godstone Farm but during the February School Holidays there will also be:
- Interactive farmyard noises trail.
- Get up close with animal encounters and take part in real life animal art sessions.
With over 500 animals, an exciting indoor playbarn and extensive adventure playgrounds outdoors there’s plenty to do, see, and hear. Talk to the Animals is perfect for children 2 – 8 year olds.

South Bank Centre – Imagine Children’s Festival
What’s on
There will be over 160 events jam-packed into 12 days and over 50% of the festival is completely free.
You can find the very best children’s theatre, comedy, music, literature, dance and, most importantly, full-on fun for the whole family this february half term holiday.
Imagine Children’s Festival is all about unlocking creativity, celebrating the individuality of every child and bringing families together.
Where?
Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1 8XX. The nearest tube and train stations within 5 – 7 minutes walk are Waterloo (Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee and Waterloo & City lines) and Embankment (District & Circle lines).

Chessington World of Adventures – Feb-ROAR-y
What’s on
Chessington is opening 11 of its rides and attractions as well as the Zoo and Sea Life Centre for people to enjoy this February Half Term. Chessington is one of our favourite theme parks as its a great place for family days out. The rides that will be open include:

Bodium Castle – Unicorn Trail
What’s on
Discover the medieval myths and mysteries surrounding unicorns on this family-friendly trail. Spot Bodiam Castle’s very own 600-year-old stone unicorn on your adventure and find out what it meant to the knight who put it there. Pick up a trail sheet from visitor reception and follow the hoofprints around the castle grounds at your own pace. £2 per trail. Includes a small medieval themed prize.
