What is it?
Escape Kit provide printable Escape Room Kits for you to complete at home. Ideal for children and adults alike you are given everything you need to transform your house into an Escape Room for an hour of fun. Escape Kit gifted us our Escape Room Kit, all opinions are our own.
Where do you get the at home Escape Kit from?
The website to select and purchase your Escape Room from here where you can choose which Escape Room you want to try. Once you purchase it you will be sent the downloads to print off at home.
How much does it cost?
The Escape Room Kits cost £15.
What age is it for?
There is a selection of different Escape Room Kits to choose from.
The one available for very little children is The Little Prince which is aimed at 3-6 year olds. We have done this one and it was easy to follow for the children and they needed very little help with it. They found the creative aspect really fun.
There are then are the other Kits for Children:
The Sleeping Curse – age 6-10. We have also done this one and it was fantastic, our daughters (who were 3 and 6 at the time) needed guidance but that made it a fun family event.
The Quest for the Magic Diamond – age 6-10
Superheroes against Dr Villain – age 7-11
The Cursed Treasure – age 8-14

How do you do an Escape Room at home?
After you have printed everything off it is a good idea to read through it all so you understand the story and can decide how you will set it and where everything will be hidden. I strongly advise doing this bit without children around so you can get everything sorted without getting distracted or giving away any clues. All you then need is some scissors and you can get cutting and allow your imagination to flow!
Added Extras
You can really let your imagination run wild. Dress the kids up, get dressed up yourself! Decorate the house, add themed food, drinks and music. You can do as much or as little as you want. Because of this you can tailor it to be suitable for a group of children at a birthday party, a special event at Halloween or Christmas, or just a rainy weekend!
