WOWPark Billund – A Review
Ad. We were gifted tickets for WOWPark Billund in return for our review. All opinions are our own.
Introduction
We visited WowPark in Billund during our week in Denmark in Summer 2024. I was really excited when I found it online as it looked like something my girls would LOVE and also a nice way to spend a day outside. Denmark is so beautiful and green and a setting like this outside is absolutely perfect. We were lucky we got a really nice warm day to visit, however, providing you wear the right clothes it would be ok in any weather!
What is there to do at WOWPark Billund?
Where do I begin! There is SO much to do at WowPark Billund, it’s actually hard to cover it all in a day. You are given a map at the entrance and this really helped us know which areas we wanted to visit and our ‘must do’s’. It’s broken up into coloured zones, and some activities are repeated in the various areas but each area does have some unique things to do so its worth trying to get around to each zone.
The highlight of the park is the huge tower that has three different slides coming from it, including Scandinavias highest free fall slide at 25 metres! Whilst my girls weren’t QUITE brave enough to do the big slide they loved the racing slides and the twisty slide (and I loved the racing slide too!) I also spent quite a long time here watching others go down the free fall slide and they all came off it saying how much they loved it.
They also really enjoyed the huge bouncy Giga-nets with the inflatable balls – it sounds so simple but it’s seriously good fun! Something I loved about WowPark is that so many of the activities felt so unique. We’ve been to activity parks all over the world and WowPark had some of the most imaginative activities that we’ve come across.
Both the girls and Dave really enjoyed the toboggan run, which was faster than any of them expected! The girls also spent a lot of their time exploring the suspension bridges, tree houses, and slides that are cleverly intertwined in the woods. Down on the ground, they played on zip wires, swings, and mazes.
What else is there to do?
I had done a little research in advance (Billund for Brits is a great facebook group for all the hints and tips) and saw that you could buy S’More ingredients at the WowPark Billund shop for a very reasonable price. You can also make twisty bread (which sounds very interesting!) or Popcorn over the fires too.
Fires are lit in various areas around the park (these are on the map) where you can take some time out from the activities and enjoy your S’mores. It was definitely a highlight for us!
If you were to ask my daughters what their favourite activity of the day was, it would be the ‘Friendly Goats’. This was an area where small goats roam free and you can go and hang out with them, feed them grass, stroke them and generally just enjoy being in their company. Both of the girls are huge animal lovers and would have stayed with them all day given the chance.
How about Food and Drink?
We took a picnic into the park with us, which we ate on one of the many picnic benches near the cafe. The cafe was beautiful and served a mimimal but really nice looking menu for those who wanted something hot. There was also plenty of drinks, slushies and snacks to buy.
Practical things to consider
Parking
Parking was plentiful, free and right outside the entrance to the park.
Location
WowPark Billund is located in Billund, very close to Lalandia and Legoland.

A day ticket for Billund is 229DKK with children under 3 going free. It is 30DKK more expensive to buy on the door.
Conclusion
We had a really brilliant day out at WowPark Billund with our kids. It was a wholesome, fun, adventurous place to visit and I would wholeheartedly recommend you include it in your Billund Itinerary. Thank you for reading WOWPark Billund – A Review .
