Fun for all the family

What is there to do at Hobbledown?

There are loads of things to do at Hobbledown, and every time we go they seem to have added more. From the indoor play barn, to loads of farm animals, a high ropes course and lots more, there is something for all the family.

Indoor Play Barn

The indoor playbarn at Hobbledown is fantastic. Large and so much fun for all ages it is ideal for rainy days or if you want a bit of shade during the hot summer months. This is also the perfect place to have lunch as it is next to the Hobnosh Restaurant. At weekends, school holidays and during Peak Times the sessions last 45 minutes but in quieter times you can play for longer. Entrance to the indoor playbarn is included in your admission price.

The indoor playbarn is huge

Farm Animals

The farm animals at Hobbledown are gorgeous. My daughters favourites are the rabbits which are loose in their pen and hop around your feet looking for things to eat. Elsewhere there are the lovely meerkats who always put on a good show and the Otters are as adorable as ever. The goats are also very popular and friendly and a lot of fun to watch. The bigger animals, such as camels, pigs and Alpaca are a must see too.

Willow Maze

The Willow Maze is fun for the whole family and set in a nice quiet area of Hobbledown so you can rest here for a while if you need a quiet spot to recharge your batteries!

Adventure Playground

The impressive Adventure Playground has everything from wobbly bridges, a zip wire, wooden towers and jumping pillows. And that is just to start! There is something for everyone even the very littlest visitors will have a great time in this part of Hobbledown.

The Imaginarium

Part reptile house, part water play, part insectarium and part interactive jungle, the Imaginarium combines hands-on, messy play with live animals – all housed in a themed building with caves, tunnels and pools galore!

Food and Drink

Hobnosh Restaurant has a good selection of hot and cold food, all with a healthy twist. Check here for the full menu.

There is also the Pizza Cottage open during Peak Times as well as many places to picnic on a sunny day.

Anything else I need to know?

You can easily spend a full day at Hobbledown, and probably not even manage to do it all! There are lots of exciting activities, especially during peak times and it is great fun.
